We broke with tradition this year and went to Chevy's for Mexican food today; it was good and the restaurant wasn't too crowded. Now we're having a nice quiet afternoon at home. I'm baking a couple loaves of homemade bread right now and the house smells so good. :smile2:

After the never ending church service (all the Christmas-n-Easter Catholics gum up the works--lol), we're finally home from the inlaws. Exhausting day, topped by a little homophobia :( Keeping my mouth shut to keep the family peace is tough sometimes.

I'm just waiting for Niece #2 to come out to her parents. I'm wondering if they'll be horrible to her or decide that she's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Hoping for #2, but until then I can't imagine what it's like for her to live there.

I feel you.

I love my MIL because she gave birth to my husband. Philip was a wonderful husband and father. And a great human being. (Not because of her but despite her.) I love her because she adores my son.
On any given day, she wouldn't pizz on me if I were on fire. (She might have been the one who set me on fire!) On any given day she just might pizz on me 'cause she had the chance.

Stay cool.

Peace.

That's it. I'm coming to your house. :)

Edit: My husband (former chef): "Oh my god. Heaven. Ask if he needs us to bring anything." LOL
Ha! Just saw this today. The menu was quite a hit with my family. I spent a bout 2 days in total preparing. I love to cook and it is a big stress reliever for me. I planned this menu about a month ago and fine tuned it up to about 2 days before Easter. I actually fall asleep going over recipes in my head, it's so relaxing for me!

Good food is one of life's great blessings.
