This is a short vid that is appearing in Edmonton sponsored by the Edmonton Police Service. Do you think it is a bit too graphic or does it get it point across well? This is shown on the Edmonton channels.
I never saw it myself but when working for the military police in Edmonton there were some cases where women had their jaws broken from a man punching them directly in the face. I typed some pretty horrible police reports so yeah - maybe it is graphic but let's not sugar coat the situation (in my opinion). Perhaps the duct tape is symbolic. Years ago domestic violence was not reported and women were ashamed to tell people what was happening. It's time to bring it out of the closet

It's effective, not too much at all IMO. (as long as it isn't aired during the early part of the night) I definitely think the tape does depict this Neesy, there is much that goes on behind closed doors and still can't be spoken of.

Is that the full video? I think if it's that short, it's good. I think if it's to long, it would not be good. First because it is VERY graphic, but also because we become blind to suffering if it's in our face to long.

But, it shouldn't be shown when young kids would be watching tv. It is aimed at adults.
