In your mirror.
Ha!

I'm just messin' with you all.

Then, again, perhaps I am, asking.

Who noticed IT first? You or significant other? (Please, feel free to tell how, when, where.)

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I have to go teach a 9th grade class tomorrow. I'm feeling a little bit goofier than usual.

(That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.)

Peace.

(I know the way out.)

Actually, it wasn't noticed at all. The head hair started turning gray first. I'm a hairy guy, sorry. The chest hair showed some here and there.

When the heart attack happened, Grandma maintains to this day that it turned my hair gray overnight. I don't believe that's correct. A shock to the body won't change the pigment in the hair that's already been secreted (Nadine is the exception, but that's supernatural). I think what happened is that my brush with mortality made her notice the gray that had crept in.

With all of that going on, grayness in the nethers wasn't really worthy of comment. It just happened with the rest of the scheme.

Soooooo.... the head and some parts, just some, of the facial hair turn gray first.

Then the chest hair. But not all of it.

Abs and back stay colorized like Ted Turner's working it.

The insulation around the naughty bits slowly turn gray, but not completely, so far.

Legs and arms aren't gray. (Well, the shins are somewhat denuded from three decades of soccer shin guards, and the arms aren't all that hairy, but that's how it seems anyway.)

Why??????? Why in the world do we have this anti-intuitive progression?

At 32, despite being a very hairy creature (chest, back, shoulders, sides of my hands etc) I am happy to say the only grey hairs appear sparsely during different lengths of beard/moustache growth, but that is something that happens to men of all ages - guarenteed grey and ginger in the beard if it get's too long.

As for head hair, my Dad went bald (not fully, but very thin) yet died aged 77 with all brown hair. My mum has been greying since her late 20s and now in her mid 60s is fully white/silver haired, but it's very thick. So far (touch wood) I appear to have my Dad's colour, and my Mum's thickness.

Haven't noticed any grey yet. But i haven't made a detailed study of the subject, especially in the neither regions. My mom is over 80 and her hair is still mostly dark even if there are now grey parts in it. I think i am like her in that sense.

I've seen a few eldercorpse (that's the correct pluralization to me--I make words up on the [pardon the pun] fly). Often the carpet did not match the drapes. The good old black and coarse. I'm not sure why there's sometimes a natural difference. Almost interesting question.

Hey Sig
Have you seen the film, Fantastic Voyage. We need to set up a trip for any Board members who would like to visit your wonderfully creative noggin.....A sign up sheet will be posted at the Cantina

I have blond hair with a couple of greys, but my beard is all white.

Three Mile Island? I didn’t live too far from there when the meltdown happened. So that’s why I turned so gray so fast and got cancer at an early age. Figures! Guess we should have stuck with fossil fuels. :)
So sorry to hear about your early cancer diagnosis, Dio. :flat: I live about 35 miles from Rancho Seco, a defunct nuclear power plant. It shut down in 1989 because of all kinds of mechanical problems. Get this: they've turned the site into a big recreational area. :umm:

Yep, you can spread out your picnic blanket right by the cooling towers.

Thanks.

That’s actually pretty cool. Any lakes nearby where one can take their rod and reel and try their hand at some fission?

Please allow me to remind you that there's a natural cure for cancer. Google Phoenix Tears.
