I don't like talking on a telephone either, or I at least prefer to use text or some other way to take care of business. Certain people I like to talk on the phone with, but there are few of them. I'm not sure why or even how long I've felt this way, and whether or not it's possibly due to childhood trauma. There are a couple of people, who happen to be good friends, who I'd rather be kidnapped by terrorists (I assume it's approximately the same experience) than to be on a phone with (I'm referring to no SKMBers!).
I loved talking on the phone when I was younger. I think my dislike of talking on the phone comes from the workplace. After years of working in an office setting, I can't stand phones (and I'm not big on talking to a lot of people in person either). I too prefer texting. My cell phone usage for actual calls is never more than 5 minutes per billing period! lol
