I've been using my nymph avatar since we moved here. It was a gift.

There's a forum I have been a member of since the nineties. Well, actually, I've been with this group of people since then, but we actually broke a way from the original forum. But that's a different story.

Back to my nymph.....a member of the forum started making avatars for people. Whoever asked got one. The ones she was making were Bratt dolls. I don't like them, so I never asked. Then one day, she just posted this for me. She said she just started experimenting and when she was about half way through, it made her think of me. So, she finished it with me in mind, and it became mine.

I had never told her I didn't like the Bratt doll ones. (When someone is making gifts for everyone it would be rude to say that.) But mine was the only one that was not a Bratt.

And it's so completely appropriate. Is she a good nymph or a bad nymph? Much like me on-line...people are not always sure. And, I absolutely love the colours.

I may switch it soon though. I have another I really like, but it was suggested I not use it where I mod. But I think it would be allowed here.

I'm a pretty big music fan and I love all genres for the most part; I consider myslef a bit of a music nerd. That said, I had never heard of the Pozo-Seco Singers before your post blunthead. Just listening to a few songs now. Love it! Thanks for inadvertently turning me on to a new group!
Yer more than welcome. My friend who knew of the group has always been a wealth of great art obscureness, as I've ended up being; in part, perhaps by familiarity. I've found a number of things which he and I've shared, too.

I was pretty thick with a charcoal tabby in Los Angeles whose original name was an obnoxious Spanish "almost-translation" play on words. (You won't have to stretch your imagination too much to get it, especially if you're familiar with some dirty Spanish.) I refused to call him by that name because it sounded (to me) like I had a Spanish potty-mouth.

Kitty looked vaguely Chinese to me at times, his meow was a distinct one, he defended his territory against invaders, and brought me all kinds of dead enemies, so I thought I was being clever when I renamed him Mao, especially since he was the dictator of the back yard.

Ultimately, it's not a cat's fault that they have long, sharp, pointy teeth or that their mouths harbor certain bacteria detrimental to humans. Sleeping 80% of their lives is their fault, however.
They have a low threshold of boredom. I teach mine a new word every day and show them a new location on Google Maps and then we try to use both in our conversations. It's fun! Gotcha!!!!

And I dubbed Mao -- Mouse-y Tongue.

Mao was so sweet when I visited LA.....he brought me lizards, and put on quite a show with a throw rug!
I tried to talk him into bringing me cash, but he thought lizards were better.
