Lol i have wondered about that since you joined^ because i knew a guy on another message board with that name.

I'm amazed anybody else liked it enough honestly. Everybody I know pretty much thinks it was a turkey. One of my "Guilty Pleasure" flicks. The character Sutter Kane is a horror writer that drives people insane with his writing. Basically, a schlock movie knockoff of lovecraft lol

When I was a member here years ago, I was Skimom (my last name ends with 'Ski' and I'm a mom--lol). When I wanted to come back I couldn't get into my original account, so I had to start over: Skimom2 :)

Mine is pretty obvious; I love vultures. Seeing them hunched together dining on the communal carcass or gliding on hot air pockets has the ability to bring whatever activity to an abrupt stop. (Not good when I'm driving 8)

The number after (45) was my age when I joined this board.

When I was little my family called me "Neesy", short for Denise
(a couple of people called me Schneezle but I am not sure why - it started with a family friend who was German).

We saw lots of these on our trip to the US this past week. My husband (being from Scotland) called them "buzzards".
I do not think they were actually vultures, (actually I am unsure) because we only saw them drifting on wind currents high overhead, not up close.

I guess their job is to eat all those poor dead "oys" we saw killed along the sides of the highway?

And all this time I assumed you picked that name because you liked to ski! Seriously!
LOL! Well, I do like to cross country ski, but I'm not that creative :) I vaguely remember originally trying to come up with a user name with a toddler hanging on my arm and crying and a grade schooler babbling in the other ear (they're 8 and 15 now, so it's been a while). It's sheer luck my user name isn't GAAAHHH! :snicker:

uh...my name REALLY IS Christine and I was born in 1962. Not too many of us Christines around so people always can't remember it and call me Claudia or Catherine...I always tell folks "Christine, you know like Stephen King's demon-possessed car?" They don't forget after that.

FlakeNoir -- I have to look in the grocery store. I usually shop a chain-- Publix-- and mine used to carry it, in the speciality aisle. Haven't looked recently, but I will next trip out.
Aww, Spidey, you're such a sweetheart... thanks for the offer, but don't worry about that. (You have spoiled me so much over the years.... which reminds me, I found a store on Friday that carries something that I've wanted to give you for years, I will P.M you later (maybe tomorrow) about it.)
