Hi,

I'm sorry if this has been posted or if it should go somewhere else. A story called Cold Finger by someone calling themself Stephen King was brought to my attention on Facebook. I went and looked at it and it's obviously not by Stephen King and there's no note on the page or anything that it's not the real Stephen King. All but one review are from people who feel they were tricked. I just wanted to bring it to your attention in case it shouldn't be there using King's good name. The link is below. Thank you.

Cold Finger - Kindle edition by Stephen KING. Children Kindle eBooks @ Amazon.com.

We've been round and round with Amazon about this particular author and yet it still continues.

I just wasn't sure. That makes sense though. I just read the excerpt and I knew it wasn't King (lots and lots of adverbs, lol!) :) I was just noticing the reviews and people felt they'd been duped thinking they were downloading a story by King.

Hhhmmm. Is it a real guy named stephen King or what? thye guy should use his middle
name if it is...like Stephen Jonh King...or something.
Exactly. Probably the reason he can use the name with no hindrance. Obviously he doesn't mind selling a lot of books to people thinking they bought a book by the real King. Personally i think a writer ought to show both his and Kings readers some respect and add an initialor something or adopt a penname even (Ross MacDonald did) , that would be the gentlemanly thing to do.
