I don't mind the fall change. Really looking forward to it this year because I get the kids up for school at 7, and since it is still dark they argue I'm getting them up too early. I will be glad to not have that argument every single school morning anymore.

"Falling back" is switching the clocks back to the standard time. The fake time is when we "spring forward". I agree that it should just all be done away with though.
Well - this kinda makes me feel better! (What Jordy posted) On a side note, speaking of cold weather, I have three guys outside right now building us a double car garage - it's about time - my husband gave them the heads up back in August - I thought for a while there they were going to run away with his cheque! It will be nice not to have to scrape all the ice and snow off the Jeep :m_butt:(Oh sorry - that's just me scratching my monkey butt - hey it's Saturday - max relax time!)

All you folks who hate falling back need an attitude adjustment. Change is good… even time change! Shake up the ol' routine-- light candles and lanterns in the early twilight, take walks by the evening moon, settle in early with a good book, a blanket, and a warm cuppa tea or cocoa. Also, we Stephen King fans can especially savor those long, eerie afternoon shadows that, thanks to the time change, show up around 3:30 in the afternoon. Get your zen going, people… :biggrin2:
