RIP Fats. I freaking LOVE his music. Elvis considered HIM the real King of Rock and Roll, and I'm inclined to agree.
I had had dogs named after him. We all had one from the litter of pups. 'chubby' was one from a friend. Chubby lived long and good. Another was called ' thunder' for some unknown reason. Mine was Terrypoo. Another unknown reason. Terrypoo lived long and was well loved.
It was all because of Fats.
RIP Such an artist and Hurricane Katrina survivor too......

I used to listen to him on 8-track tapes. 'Walkin' to New Orleans' was a classic! R.I.P.

I loved Fats Domino as a kid, we had a stack of his 45's and would play them over and over! Sadly, the phrase "Ain't That A Shame" is a very appropriate thing today.
