Received the new boxes of Quisp by package delivery*also a John Sandford book! and am looking forward to digging in to a bowl Saturday morning..bought four boxes,so should last four months, can ration them to one bowl a week, considering it is mostly sugar..the boxes were cool though, they even have a cartoon on the back, which makes me think from the tone that they may offer it as a staple of their cereal offerings..

<--------- and yeah, they don't taste as good but I still get a few boxes every year and somehow I manage to make them disappear. Cereal in general is one of my favorite things!

I swear that Frankenstein (Frankenberry) says "piss off" at eight seconds in - I must be hearing things! :icon_eek::Oo:

I bought a box of Lucky Charms quite recently - the manager at the grocery store told me he was part Irish and part Japanese - the only thing I didn't get that night was some sushi - the store was ready to close :onthego::onthego::onthego:
Oh dear - just found a picture of Marshmallow treats (Rice Krispie squares) made with Lucky Charms - yikes!

Should I even try to make this?

Here's the recipe, if anyone is brave enough to try it:

"Lucky Treats"
Animated-emoticon-chasing-four-leaf-clover.gif

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter
1 bag large marshmallows
6 cups Lucky Charms

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan on medium high heat, combine butter and marshmallows. Stir constantly until marshmallows have melted.
  2. Remove from heat and incorporate Lucky Charms.
  3. Spread mixture in a greased 13 x 9 baking dish. Cool at least 2 hours.
  4. Cut into squares and enjoy!
Step five:

I would have to wash this down with some hot coffee :kiwi-fruit::alien::frog::kiwi-fruit::D to counteract the sweetness :)
