This morning as I performed my "regular" duties, I was startled by a sound emanating from the drain in the bathroom sink. And it was very much like those in The Moving Finger. One of my personal faves and one of King's funniest stories too! Needless to say I hightailed it out of there. Literally!!

I have many favorites, but to narrow it down to just one... The Monkey. Skeleton Crew was the first King book I ever read. I was a pre-teen and loved the whole book, but The Monkey really stuck with me. It made me look at my toys in a whole new light. Lol.

"Jang, Jang, JANG!"

Yea that story is messed up lol i would add that to my list as well.

Crouch End,for me..the Lovecraftian theme,of a city that never ends, trying to find your way out,and eventually getting only horror and pain for your efforts..loved it..though Rainy Season was also neat,a short quick nasty little read, kinda like zombies with warty skin and tongues..
