I am amazed at the different ways that Mr. King manipulates the language turning nouns into verbs or putting verbs in places that totally blows you away and your realize he is a Master. In Lisey's Story he wrote "he stuttered down the steps" In Cell he wrote "she bulldogged it back down"

What's your favorite King verb?

I don't think its a verb, but King used to like using the word 'Eave'. He was writing at the table under the eave.

In Lisey's Story, I enjoy how King, through Scott, describes his old man getting up off the couch and doing a kind of crazy-scissors walk over to the door. Looked for the actual word the other night...thought maybe it was "scissor-walked"...though that is not there, or if it is, I didn't see it.

It's not a King book if he doesn't use the verb "trundled" at least once.
