Ok two questions

1. What is your favorite word that seems to come up in Kings writing? It can be for any reason. For me, it’s based on sound and the way it feels when you say it.

2. The second is do you a favorite word in general? If so what is it?

Mine:

1.Palsied,

King seemed to use it a lot in his early work. I remember as a kid, getting out the dictionary and then waiting forever for an opportunity to use it in a conversation (and get weird looks).

2.Tomatillo ˌ/tōməˈtēyō/

just say it out load it rolls off the tongue and pushes the mouth into a breathy O.

opopanax
Opopanax: Jack is almost haunted by the word opopanax at the beginning of the story. Its meaning is given as: "describing a word that cannot be found in the dictionary." It is also the name of the feather in Wolves of the Calla that is used to summon the Calla folken to a palaver - and also passed to anyone desiring to speak during the palaver
