I was singing the aforementioned Bob Seger's "Roll Me Away" in the shower and realized there's another part I really like.
She didn't have to say a thing. I knew what she was thinking: "Roll, roll me away, won't you roll me away tonight. I too am lost, I feel double-crossed, and I'm sick of what's wrong and what's right." We never even said a word. We just walked out and got on that bike. And we rolled... and we rolled clean out of sight!
This boy's too young to be singing the bluesYou know you can't hold me forever
I didn't sign up with you
I'm not a present for your friends to open
(Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road)
Yes he really worked me over good
He was a credit to his gender
Put me through some changes Lord
Sort of like a Waring blender
(Poor, Poor Pitiful Me - Linda Ronstadt)
May I offer something without sounding challenging? The original song was by Warren Zevon. It was pathetic and funny. One verse ended with, "I don't wanna talk about it."

Anyway, just based on things happening in life at the moment:
"And there's so much time to make up everywhere you turn. Time we have wasted on the way. So much water moving underneath the bridge. Let the water come and carry us away."
Crosby, Stills, and Nash - "Wasted on the Way."

"You will find other kind that has been in search of you, many lives have brought you to. Recognize, it's your life now in review. And as you stay for the play fantasy has in store for you, a glowing light will see you through. It's your day, shining day - all your dreams come true. As you glide in your stride with the wind as you fly away, give a smile from your lips and say, "I am free; yes, I'm free. Now I'm on my way."
Earth Wind & Fire - "Fantasy"
