Thanx, booklover. I've been a movie fan since I was this high. I like all kinds of scenes and have a lot of favorite actors, De Niro and Walken included among them.Blunthead - Two Classic films - Bullit - the car chase was the best ever seen in the movies and papillion - great film like your taste in movies.
The Deer hunter never fails to put me on the edge of my seat in the Russian Roulette scence. Great film. De Niro and Walken are two of my favourite actors
This movie just killed me. Sort of a Charly situation.
Yes, it was very touching, especially considering that it was based on a true story. I've not seen Charly but I read the book. This movie just killed me. Sort of a Charly situation.
The fact that Awakenings was based on a true story is what made it so heartbreaking.Yes, it was very touching, especially considering that it was based on a true story. I've not seen Charly but I read the book.
I really must see Charly. I think Robertson won the Oscar, didn't he? I thought De Niro was incredible in Awakenings, too. The scene I tried to find was unavailable at Youtube; the one where his cure begins to wear off. He was amazing. The fact that Awakenings was based on a true story is what made it so heartbreaking.
Cliff Robertson does a really believable job with his portrayal. It tore me up.
Yes, I think he did. Robert DeNiro was fantastic too. So believable and vulnerable. Loved it but it broke my heart.I really must see Charly. I think Robertson won the Oscar, didn't he?
