Favorite movie scenes

I love movies so much! There are favorite scenes in a lot of movies, but this is one that stayed with me and maybe shaped my own behaviour. Not the cheating (lol), but it's easy to forget that intentions don't matter as much as actions.

And that was the scene that set up the dialogue I was referring to: The two words, and the subdued cascade of realization for the protagonist that was the linchpin of the plot. And Ed Exley/Guy Pearce carried it off. You can see the revelation suffusing him even as he represses it, out of necessity. Wonderful scene.

I just love it when there's one little thing that hinges everything. Scott Turow did it in Presumed Innocent. Just great storytelling.
