i cant remember if Bev was IN the rock fight, i gotta re read the whole book.

did Bev have her sling shot for that fight, please tell me, thanks
She was definitely in the rock fight but I'm blanking on the slingshot question.

she was in the rock fight, the story specifically makes mention of her only picking up one particularly large rock. to the best of my recollection it doesn't really mention her doing anything, beyond hitting henry with her one rock, as part of a quartet - 4 of them simultaneously unloaded on henry when he was trying to talk crap to them.

The only thing I didn't like about the film was the time period. I liked that IT took place in the 50's in the book. I am excited to see a modern day IT though, in part 2. That's my only downer about part 1.

Favorite parts? I think for me, my favorite parts are Mike's interludes concerning the history of the town. The Kitchener Ironworks explosion, the lumberjack (Claude Heroux, I think?) killing the other guy in the speakeasy, the Bradley Gang shootout, the fire at the Black Spot...I really enjoyed those parts. And all the 1950s references to stuff that I, as a child of the 70s and 80s, heard my mom talk about.
