What are your favorite plays? If you have only seen a screen adaptation of a play, that's ok. Here are some I like:

'Tommy' was playing across the street, really wanted to see that too.

Shakespeare, sure...I've only seen a few performed live, As You Like It, Measure for Measure, Midsummer...Hamlet, Lear. I think I like Lear da best. See the little dogs and all, Trey, Blanche, Sweetheart, they bark at me!
Death of a Salesman...he was just a man way out in the blue, riding on a smile and a shoeshine.
Zoo Story (it's personal)
Christmas Carol...I've seen a number of performances of this one, always good.
saw some Chaucer performed, great costumes, great lines, I laughed on cue, clueless.

I did. Not just the play, but the whole play experience.

The lobby, the seats.. The grand ceilings. The sniffles everywhere for emotions for the play.

(Still wish I snuck over the street to Tommy, thou) bet that was rockin.

oh yeah...Streetcar Named Desire...but only on film, Marlon...the babe, what was her name? two of them. Babe One and Babe Two. The one all freshly scrubbed and scented. Saw some variation of Annie, too...that was okay. Anything you can do I can do better! No you can't! Yes I can!

-Midsummer Night's Dream (favorite time I saw it was at Sundance's outdoor theater. The fairies came out of the surrounding forest and danced through the audience to get to the stage area )

A few of my favorites

I review local theater for a local online publication, so I see quite a few shows that way. Mostly musical theater, though (that's HUGE here), and that's not my favorite. Rest assured, I review fairly.
