The woods are lovely dark and deep
Vinnie's where you get the best steak in town, only need a fork it's so tender. Also you can order the best twice baked potatoes, oh Heaven. Vinnie passed away a few years ago, the family closed it down.:upset:

If you are ever in Nashville, check out the Loveless Café on Highway 100. They have an awesome biscuits and gravy dish and a beautiful Chef salad. They will card you.

Here's my family's problem it has with IHOP, Perkins, Denny's, Waffle House, and whatever else for breakfast. If they come over to our place:

They'll do better here. The omelets or scramblers will have have fresh vegetables and spices.
The pancakes will be loaded with bananas, blueberries, and maybe even chocolate chips.
The coffee will be hazelnut or vanilla.
Bacon cooked (okay, fine, microwaved) to order.
The hashbrowns will have flecks of grilled onion as well as garlic and melted cheddar.
Breakfast parfait will have granola, berries, and vanilla yogurt.
We won't have just orange juice. We'll have orange/banana/strawberry or peach/orange/mango juice.

And they would go to the other places and spend 10 bucks each on breakfast..... why?

:D

Calamari is squid. I stand corrected.
I was introduced to it at a young age when it was disguised as octopus.
I have to remind myself it's not octopus, at least not in the U.S.

Loveless in Nashville: not as good as it once was. I'd go to Arnold's, Wendell's, or Prince's for fried chicken, even though I'm not a fiend for the stuff. But Loveless still makes blackberry preserves that rule.
