I think this might take the cake for most pathetic thread, but...here goes.

What is your favorite bar soap (or liquid)? I like Irish Spring but my favorite from an early age is Coast. Does smelling a certain scent remind you of a certain memory?

I don't buy the soap in my house. My wife likes the liquid stuff. But when I was a kid I used to love the commercials when that guy who looked like Jackie Stewart used to slice open a bar of Irish Spring so we could see...something. I'm still not sure what that was supposed to prove - that soap strata exists?

The smell of gunpowder reminds me that I once shot a man in Reno just to watch him die.....

General Hospital or As the World Turns

I like Lush bath products but they are very expensive; I buy the bath bombs that fizz, for special occasions

Ivory. I have super scent-sensitive skin, so I have to go with as mild a soap as I can get. It smells clean, at least :) Irish Spring reminds me of my dad.
I was told that Ivory, while 99% pure, is harsh on dry skin - that is why the medical officer back in the day recommended Dove (but she pronounced it with a hard O - as in "She dove off the diving board" - it was a French Canadian Medical Officer or doctor

I like the smell of Nivea cream so I have bought that stuff you put on your skin in the shower then rinse off

....Like you, I'm an Irish Spring guy....but oddly enough-the soap that brings back a memory for me is Lava brand....reminds me of Dad and I working together....

You're right - should have been clearer. I meant mild in terms of scent. :) It's only the scented stuff that bothers my skin ( with the exception of Yardley ' s English Lavender--I can use that, too)
