i ran a search and was surprised to not see a post like this! So here it is! i'd have to say my favorite part King has played in a film is definitely from the first installment of "Creepshow" where he starred in "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill"....HILARIOUS! hahahaaa! the fact that he thought the college would have a "Dept. Of Meteors" as well as his face when he remarks "METEOR ****!".:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
(Laungauge alert for video. Don't watch if the kids are around!)

also, his part as minister in Pet Sematary was GREAT! ;;D

oh my! you must watch the whole film. i loved "Creepshow" and "Creepshow 2". check em out! definitely worth the watch. really kitschy B-or-C movie type stuff. it's most definitely worth watching. "Old Chief Woodenhead" is another great one. it's on "Creepshow 2" ;;D

Love them all, but my fave was the minister in Pet Semetary. I think it was because I knew he was so ok with that adaptation versus some earlier ones.

yeah Pet Sematary was a film which was pretty spot on (albeit a little toned down from the book...let's be glad we didn't have to hear Gage say some of the things about Jud's wife that he says in the book. good Lord!). when S.K. cameos in a film adaptation of one of his stories, it is always a good sign.

my favorite? Thinner...he plays the neighborhood pharmacist...the roles he picks for himself always crack me up.

I can't speak for him being a pizza delivery guy in The Simpsons, but in 2000, he appeared as himself in an episode entitled Insane Clown Poppy.

Yeah...no...I meant the real Stephen King, not a cartoon version...some show I only caught that scene as I'm flipping channels...Stephen King at the door delivering a pizza. Can't remember if they gave him a tip or not. At first I thought it was a pizza commercial. Didn't watch the show...they had figure skating on another channel...watched that, instead.
