Yeah, the running really helps me to focus and let go of things that bother me or make me angry. About 6 minutes in, I feel 110% better!!!!!

I know how you feel. I am waiting to start a new job in March, but even though I know that,I almost go crazy being inside, saving money, no sun, no one to talk to (except you guys :) ), etc. I have some volunteer work and a small par time job that I do from home, but I can't find motivation to even do much of that. February is always a struggle, I think that when spring comes things will look better.
And good luck with the job hunt, something good will come your way!

...Honey, I wish I could help...I know some of the special challenges you struggle with-and you have done so very well in the face of them...persistence is your friend, as am I-and if there IS anything I can do, you need only ask-and the offers still open if you want a change of venue...

I applied for four different jobs this week and it is always the same. "We'll let ya know," or "We just don't have anything. Have an A1 day."

The weather isn't helping my mood. The high for this weekend is 30 and there isn't any sun. I'm freezing and can't jog.

When March arrives life will get better with warm days and baseball games.

Aww bless ya, have faith and stay strong, the right job will come along for you soon. And I hear you on the weather front, I definitely suffer from SAD. I hate winter and I'm sloooowwwllly counting down the days until May when I will be back home in sunny Greece. 99-DAYS!!!

Have you considered online jobs?

Hang in there Garriga, my wife's in the same boat. A job search is an emotional rollercoaster. You can't just go from point A to point B. It's more like you're throwing messages in a bottle out to the ocean and hoping a reply floats back. You can increase your odds by throwing more bottles, and writing better notes, but there's a lot that's just going to depend on the tides and the wind.

In the meantime make sure you spend a little time doing a few of those little things you dreamed about doing if you only had a little more time!
