Thank you for respecting his privacy. He was out and about as just another Bangor resident so I'm sure he appreciated being able to go about his shopping without having to do his "work" thing.

I can only say he's never done it when I've been with him and can't imagine that he would just on general principles of not allowing his work life affect his personal life to that degree.
