Hello fellow King lovers, I've enjoyed over twenty years of reading the incredible tales and novels offered to us by the Master of Fiction, and have loved almost every single one (for my sins I could never finish Dreamcatcher, Blaze, or Needful things). In my social group of friends and family, I seem to be the only one to read the works of SK, so imagine my relief to finally find a place with such a large population of residents who also cherish King's work.

One nagging question remains though, instead of posting on this board, shouldn't we be spending our time sat in our favourite reading spot, with a King story? I've recently finished Mr Mercedes, which on the whole was excellent (although Brady was utterly repellent to the point that I wanted to join with the narrative and give the crazed freak a damn good kicking!) I am currently reading George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four, but have my eye on one of the old classics on my top shelf - namely The Stand or perhaps The Shining. And I must admit one thing to all you folks, I have mixed feelings concerning the premise of the forthcoming Revival novel, but still can't wait to buy the damn thing (in Hardback) and see how it looks sitting alongside Mr Mercedes and Doctor Sleep.

Anyway, it's going to be fun to talk with you all. Have a good night and remember to lock your doors and windows before drifting off to sleep; you never know who could be lurking outside! Regards, Kevin Inker.

Welcome Kevin! I'm also from the UK. There's a few of us here. Whereabouts are you from? Have to say I re-read Dream Catcher a while ago and really enjoyed it.

Thanks Claire, I'm from Bristol, one of the finest cities in the country! I'm glad you enjoyed Dreamcatcher, perhaps I'll give it a second chance sometime soon. Have you read Doctor Sleep or Mr Mercedes?
