Okay just finished watching it, :biggrin2: I have lots to say...

"I'm bumping off your Merry Band of Motherfu@kers, Randall!"

Garage door scene, all of it, start to achingly slow finish.

Corman shiiting himself after the hanging, that was laugh out loud stuff.

Corman and Trent's fight/slash vomit scene, specifically where Corman pukes into Trent's mouth.... entirely gross and hilarious.

"Nobody Loves You" during Herschell's killing.

Question: Did James play any of that guitar himself? (bloody fantastic if so...)

I seriously hate the "N" word. I used to also really hate the "C" word and then I met a lot of people that a) used it and b) made me think they were one in the context it is used when swearing at someone... so I'm more chill on the "C" word these days... but I'll never be okay with the "N" word.
I know that some people are and others are not, for vastly different reasons. It's just a personal preference for me to have nothing to do with it.

Overall response:
I think you guys did an amazing job! It won't appeal to everyone, but this is a piece of intensive work. The planning, the writing, the music, the cinematography.... it's all there! The acting has also improved from your first film, the dialogue is more natural too.
There are some very artful camera shots, seriously... a lot of insight there.
You can all be proud of this film. If you keep doing this, I believe you will have a career in the film/or TV industry.

Well done...

The improvement (in all phases) from production to production is evident. I love watching this process unfold.

What is the blood recipe? Cappy must be making his own. It would be too expensive to buy all of that blood. ;-D

Absolutely! This kid is so talented... I think he is the driving force in all of this and the fact that what is inside of his young brain is being translated to the screen is quite incredible at his age. Like you, I'm really enjoying the processes.

Re: the blood... they must be! And I was just laughing my ar$e off with every new explosion, it just became a running gag really. :biggrin2:

I just started watching. Are you in it?

I play Eli in the middle of the film. That said, I'm not a huge fan of acting, I only do it if no-one else is available. Ideally, I'd just do cameos.

Will check it out later when I have a little more time... but just want to say congratulations on finishing yet another mammoth project!

Congrats- :m_spin:

Pretty awesome, Ben-jamin! Hope all is well with you.

Awesome Ben. You did a great job with this.

Thank you all! It makes me happy that even a few people watch my sh*tty videos.

Mine is definitely
"Oh my god he's got F*CKING AIDS".
We had to do a lot of takes of that line, just because of how out of nowhere and nonsensical it was.

Garage door scene, all of it, start to achingly slow finish.

That was not scripted at all, we came up with that about 2 minutes before we filmed it. I was worried about whether it would be awkward-funny or awkward-awkward, but I am glad it is the former.

Corman shiiting himself after the hanging, that was laugh out loud stuff.

I came quite close to cutting that out, I liked it a lot, but I was concerned that if the joke fell flat, it could really damage the film overall, given it is the final joke. I figured I would take a gamble and leave it in.

Corman and Trent's fight/slash vomit scene, specifically where Corman pukes into Trent's mouth.... entirely gross and hilarious.

That's definitely my favourite part of the movie, and the part that got the biggest reaction at the screening.

"Nobody Loves You" during Herschell's killing.

All of it. The soundtrack is coming out on the 28th, we're both really happy with his music and how it fits into the movie.

I seriously hate the "N" word. I used to also really hate the "C" word and then I met a lot of people that a) used it and b) made me think they were one in the context it is used when swearing at someone... so I'm more chill on the "C" word these days... but I'll never be okay with the "N" word.

An entirely reasonable grumble :) I've always been a words-don't-mean-jack kinda guy, but it's all a matter of perspective.

Thanks for writing all this, I love getting feedback on my stuff. I'm really glad you enjoyed it, I also think it's a step-up quality wise. I've begun filming on my next project, which I won't say too much about now (except to say it's quite different in a lot of ways I've done before), and it's another step-up.

I love making my own blood. For the most part, it's just water with a ton of red dye, a splash of blue dye, and some flour to thicken it and make it less transparent. There are some parts where the recipe was slightly different, but generally that's all it was. In the scene where Randall
has been poisoned and is vomiting bloody chunks
, we put some peanut butter in the fake blood. It was beyond disgusting.

BTW, Randall is in fact named after Randall Flagg.

Excellent work! How adorable are YOU Eli and what a treat to also see you in there! I'm wondering if Peter Jackson might be inspirational in what you do, it made me think of a movie from the 80s called Bad Taste and that guy started exactly the same as you , and he went on to become very Bigtime! heres the kind of stuff he would do ....

Congratulations I think you and your friends are Extremely talented and equally Adorable and Love your accents, and I think you have a really Bright Future ahead in these very disgusting and tasty presentations!

Dick Smiths blood recipe is the one most used in horror films. You may know this but just in case-

Dick Smith's Legendary Fake Blood Recipe. First mix a dash of methyl paraben with some of the corn syrup in a cup. Then pour the powdered red and yellow food coloring in a big bucket and mix in a couple ounces of water. Then add the rest of the corn syrup.

In any event Kayro syrup is often used as a thickener and works well. It helps adhere the blood to the face so there is no transparency even in the event it dries. It's tasty too.

I remember your horror twin Bruce Campbell talking and laughing about the bloody sticky karo during Evil dead filming! It sure cant get any sweeter than that!

Any movie that has so much spitting blood needs something tasty. I can honestly say that was the most spitting of fluids I've ever seen in a movie. But, ya know, I kinda liked it after a while. It's almost a niche fetish kind of flick.

I was a little puzzled by Hershel's accent. Is there a southern Aussie? At any rate a most enjoyable little film. I liked the "you are becoming one of us" thing. Sort of sets it up for a tortured soul searching sequel.

There was definitely some Braindead-esque attitude in there.
