Was wondering what a fine copy of 1st edition stand is worth. There is one on ebay about 2 months ago, but asking a lot. On sk collector it says 250 to 350. I was offering 350 bc it's such a good copy so I went to the highest end possible of the range. He wants more. I told him the price range and where I found my info. He agrees with those values but said his is worth more bc of the condition. I said bc of the condition is the reason he is getting the 350. He said that price range is for average condition books.is that true. Is sk collector price range of 250 to 350 for an average condition book? If so where can I find values of fine condition books. A truly fine copy would be quite pricey, but what your willing to pay and value aren't the same. I wouldn't pay more than say $500 for a near fine copy, but I wouldn't sell at that price. $300-400 for a good copy seems like a pretty good deal to me if I were in the market for one. SK Collector prices are just an average.

Its worth what you or someone else is willing to pay. I have seen so many Signed books sell well above their "Value" I guess its all about how badly someone wants it.

I guess I should have clarified my question--are you talking about the original Stand or the Revised edition?
