Her history was sad. Her mom and the 4 pups were going to be destroyed at a shelter. This lady rescued them.
She was born on March 24th, so she is 3 months old.
So by the first of October, she will go to be spayed.
She has chosen Kat's bed in one way or another to sleep. Right now she is under it asleep.
Bethy is on her Hello Kitty blanket snoozing, and snoring.
They won't back down from each other, so maybe in time they will be friends.

Well, we didn't get that puppy, we got his sister!
We have named her Phoenix.
At this moment, she is asleep on Kat's bed!
The cat, Bethy, has smacked her about 2 times, and hissed at her! Then the dog was barking at the cat! To funny.
Want to hear the weird part? Phoenix took a poo in the cat box!!
Here she is!

Phoenix, and Bethany are a hoot to watch!
Last night, they were playing, and Phoenix just trips over her own feet, and was belly up for a bit.
Mind you, they were not playing together though.
Then the next thing I see is the blanket they lay on going to the kitchen with Phoenix dragging it in her mouth.
While I was playing with Bethany, Phoenix tried to horn in, and Bethy popped her a good one!
Better than any TV show out there to watch these 2.
Today they are both give out!

Congrats!

Look into free training classes at Petco or Petsmart. They will help with socialization.

Housetraining takes a lot of patience. The crate will help with that. Just be vigilant and take her out every hour or so to a designated place you want her to go. Outside right after eating as well. Every dog is different so it might take a couple weeks to months. Accidents will happen so patience is key.
I'm late to this, but see if your pet store has something called Nature's Miracle. It is a non-toxic solution that you can apply to the floors where there were accidents and it will complete remove the smell. Helps to prevent recurrences.

Such a cutie!! Glad you are enjoying her!!

Yes, that stuff does work really well. Had to use it while training the Brody Dog!

Their de-skunk solution works really well too. Brody Dog's predecessor got sprayed and it took the stink off him.
