I don't know how to do the spoiler thing, so Imma keep my mouth shut. Thankfully I have VII on the bookshelf loaded up and ready to go - $2.99 hardcover from Goodwill thrift shop last summer, say thankee! It must have been torture for everyone who read these as they were published because there's a real cliff-hanger in these pages.

to do the spoiler tag, it is simply
and then
(two keys next to P make up the proper brackets...wait that's great...it doesn't show...press the first key to the right of the P and then type spoiler, then press the Right Bracket which is the second key to the right of the P. to close the spoiler, do the same but use this inside the brackets "/spoiler"

[ spoiler ] blah blah blah [ /spoiler] -- Take all the spaces out of what's in those brackets and you've got yourself a spoiler.

Just finished Song of Susannah. King's self-referencing fascinated me, but for the most part, this felt like an "in-between" type of book, sort of like the middle segment of a trilogy.
Anxious to read Book 7 though, and I can't wait to see where this is going. Also, as I've said before, I will wait until I'm completely finished to really form a full opinion on The Dark Tower.

Get ready, and I mean that in every sense of the word.....

This thread was much more about how to do a spoiler tag and less about SoS. o_O
That being said, I loved the new characters introduced in this book. The helpers to the ka-tet and the rose. Not a huge fan of King being in the story though.
I was actually really amused by that
especially the explanation to why the DT would appear in his stories to varying degrees
Oh I hope I did that spoiler right hahahah
