I had a good time with the family this years christmas.

And last Tuesday I handed in my project paper finally. I am really happy about this.

New Years eve was also quiet nice. Really nice fireworks.

The only negative thing is that I have a cold again.

I really missed this place.

Hi y'all! :howdy: Had a nice Christmas, and New Years' was quiet.

When we were setting up the tree we decided it was it's last year. It's not that old, but it's huge. And while it was the most beautiful and realistic looking artificial tree when it was new, it has not aged well. So, right after Christmas I went on-line and found a new one, 50% off and ordered it. Then, January first we threw away the old one....but first I cut all the pine cones off it. I'm going to offer them to a primary teacher who might want them for a craft next year.

Our tree have been falling over on the 26th this year. My Mum was angry at the tree so it got kicked out of the house. :biggrin2:
A couple of christmas balls broke but that the laminate got wet was worse. We cleaned the mess up together. We will see if we get a tree this year.;;D

Well, I cleaned the house quite thoroughly. Slept muchly. Went to see The Hateful Eight. Had to work at least 20 hours last week when I was supposed to be off the entire week. Managed to start a fight with the Orge of such vast proportions we haven't said a kind word to each other in 2 days - and I'm not budging - it must suck to be my children. I'm taking the tree down tonight. The kids are out of school one more day - they don't go back until Tuesday, so we'll slack today and tomorrow. Tuesday it's back to reality. Nice to see you all again!

We had a good Christmas with the descendants. We decorated the house more than usual, and it's been nice. The tree is down now, along with the interior decorations. I'll take the lights off the house today, or at least that's the plan.

For our big social outing, other than eating and drinking with friends and family, we saw Star Wars. I finished my latest pride-and-joy story, and it's off to the beta readers. We watched some TV, not much (Jessica Jones figured in prominently) and have restarted the Harry Potter series, just for fun.

We had a really good year at the office, not only income-wise but just getting things together in a better way. Looking forward to 2016.

The happiest of the New Year to all of you. May peace, health, happiness, and prosperity find their way to your door.

I worked my tail off down at the bookmines serving over zealous after Christmas sale shoppers. But on my off time, I read Dickens. Watched my favorite old movies, looked at my little tree and being sorry I need to take it down. Not because it's hard to do, but because it's cute and the lights make my eyes happy. (I'll take it down later this morning.)
For good luck in the new year, I made black eyed peas, fried potatoes and cabbage. And for the first time ever, absolutely purrfect cornbread. I think a certain kitchen witch helped me make that cornbread. The whole meal came out perfect and delicious, that is unprecedented. As I have said before, I am famous for my cooking, but not in a good way. Mayhap the new year will bring better meals from my kitchen!
Missed you all!
