Hopefully fljoeO won't have to add another jersey to his picture above.

I don't know how optimistic anyone should be. Short of leaving town again, I don't know how the Cleveland Browns can become a powerhouse football team. :biggrin2: Maybe Manziel is one of the answers, but I don't know. He's following a long line of bad quarterbacks and worse luck.

Here is a screen capture of a Fox Sports scoreboard. If you look at it closely, you will notice that the Bills won a baseball game.

The Bills are better at baseball than they are at football. ;-D

How can anyone confuse the SF Giants with the Buffalo Bills? I know the historical character Buffalo Bill was larger than life, but that is a real stretch. :)

I guess I'm old school, but if they do change it I'll be sad.

The team can appeal this ruling and I'm sure they will. But they are getting past a tipping point here and have to decide how much money they are going to waste defending this. If they could win an appeal, there is still a huge public (and congressional) backlash to deal with and probably more litigation on the horizon. I think there will be a new name within the next couple of years.

You are probably right, fljoeO. Probably will come down to public opinion. Have to keep the fan base happy at the concession stands. There is always throwback uniform week for the true die hard fan.

I'm not sure they would even do a throwback jersey because if they have lost the trademark, they probably won't want to promote something people can make knockoffs of.

With the season soon upon us, anyone planing on going to any NFL games this year? Personally I would much rather watch the NFL on TV, but I always seem to get conned into going to the last preseason game between my NY Jets and the Philadelphia Eagles... and I’m going again this year.

Also, who would you like to play at the Super Bowl halftime show this time? My pick would be "Weird Al" Yankovic. Hey, let’s have some fun for once.
