Yes, yes it would :(

Took a wuppin' in that game.....

Man, that song doesn't end...............

I was at the AFC championship game in Miami that year against the Pats and the Dolphins had fumbleitis in the rain that day. That was an awful day (for me at least). I thought the Dolphins would have had a better shot against the Bears in that Super Bowl. The Dolphins had beaten the Bears just a few weeks before and the Bears were complete idiots in that game. Buddy Ryan insisted on blitzing constantly against Marino and when Marino was young, that was the wrong strategy. They had excellent receivers and Marino got rid of the ball so freaking fast that blitzing the Dolphins was doing them a big favor. If I know Buddy Ryan, he wouldn't have changed a thing if they had played a second time.

I remember bits and pieces of that season. I was in 7th grade :)

I do remember thinking if Steve Grogan had started for the Pats they would have had a better shot. Never did like Tony Eason.

Tony Eason was petrified in that game. The coaches should have seen that and yanked him much earlier. Grogan was a very good quarterback and the Patriots were always trying to replace him. I never understood that.

Out of Order I thought I'd answer the football question here instead of the weather thread. My boy (Big Ben) is playing Offensive Guard this year. He's doing great - he's gotten so big since last season. 6' tall, 188 lbs, size 13 shoe - and the kid is only 13.

Just got an email from the coach - they are waiting until 5:30pm to see where we're at with the heat index before they make a decision but if it's what is predicted, they will call it off. I know my son will be glad. They practice 4 days a week 2 hours a day, and the day they don't practice is game day. It's a big commitment July - October.

I sure hope your winter is not worse than last year - egad - I can't imagine.

Jeezy Creezy Lou-wee-zee, what're you feedin' that kid, Miracle-Gro??
Do you freeze entire gallons of milk? (My aunt did that in football season with two sons on two teams - she couldn't keep milk in the house.)
Let me guess: 16 oz. steaks, entire pitchers of orange juice, two boxes of cereal a week, whole loaves of bread and boxes of pasta.
