LSU showed up today and I am not surprised. They made mistakes, but it is tough to beat an LSU that believes in themselves. Plus Ole Miss made a few horrendous decisions, especially that one at the end. Not quite sure what Bo Wallace was thinking when he threw that ball. Either way, I'd like to cordially welcome Ole Miss to the one loss club.

Tennessee played tough tonight. I imagine LSU will be an even tougher hurdle for the Tide. Both Auburn and Mississippi State survived close calls, too. In fact, if you add Florida State into the mix, all of the top five struggled in games they probably should not have struggled in.

If the Canes can knock off FSU, I imagine plenty of SEC teams will be grateful. ;)

Broncos stomped the Chargers in an AFC Division Thursday night game.

CSU thumped Wyoming at home today before a sellout in this year's Border War. (Fort Collins, home of the CSU Rams, and Laramie, home of the UW Cowboys, are about an hour from each other, just on other sides of the Colorado/Wyoming border.)

Dunno what CU and Air Force did, but from my view, it's a good week for Colorado football.

I haven’t gone from anger to “I don’t give a damn” so early in a Jets season since the Rich Kotite era. :(

I have my Giants "bag" close at hand............

I'll make room for y'all on my Cowboys bench......they ain't actually looking too bad this season.
We will just agree to not discuss the Panthers until further notice....
