Football is making me grumpy. CSU has lost its head coach to Florida. We apparently got about $7 million in various ways for a contract buyout, but couldn't they have had the grace to wait until after the bowl game (vs. Utah in Vegas)? Meanwhile, CSU is going ahead with a stadium that'll cost two-thirds of the university's annual budget. It does not have town support. And all this time, I thought the purpose of a university was to gather and disseminate knowledge. What was I thinking.

And the Broncos won, once again umimpressively, and you have to wonder if Peyton's throwing mechanisms are giving him trouble and that's why they're being so grounded lately, ha, ha. But hey, a win is good. 10-3 is good.

The Dolphins defense has really been taking it on the chin the past few weeks. They really got destroyed in the 2nd half today.

Atlanta plays Green Bay tomorrow night and I don't expect them to win. So we will have two 5-8 teams tied for the NFC South lead with Carolina right behind at 4-8-1. Are we going to see a 6-10 team (or 6-9-1) win a division and make the playoffs this year?

6-10? Why not 5-11? :D

At this rate, the Bucs still have a shot.

What's this? The 49ers lose to the previously 1-11 Raiders?
:facepalm: :big_tears:

Titans, people.................

Twelve straight years of winning 10 or more... While others dream.
I feel sorry for the folks who love another team.
Patriots are 10 and 3 and, currently, in 1st;
Even after San Diego's Chargers did their worst.

Defense for New England did their jobs (and even more.)
Jamie Collins in your face can make it hard to score.
Revis shut opponents down and Browner laid them low.
Bad officiating stole a touchdown from us, though.

Browner hit a guy so hard that he coughed up the ball;
Hit was legal but officials made a bullsh!t call.
Browner used his shoulder - which is bound to leave a mark -
In the end, however, that provided us the spark

Which the Offense needed to go out and seal the deal.
Chances we'll go undefeated, here on out, are real.
I don't wish to count my chickens well before they're hatched,
But the teams we've yet to play are badly over-matched.

Hope Cam is okay. His team is still in the playoff hunt and his team certainly needs him. The Panthers looked good against the Saints, but the Falcons showed some fight against the Packers. I think the division, such that is, is going to come down to either the Panthers or the Falcons. Regardless, whoever gets in is going to cause a lot of other potential playoff teams to be upset because they will have been left out despite having a better record than the NFC South winner.

I'd hate to be that eleven win team that lost a spot to a six or seven win team.

The whole freaking world gets to see the Browns game, except Baton Rouge. We still get to watch the Bucs and Panthers. Pluh.

Well, the Broncos won, and I'd like to say it was unimpressive, but Peyton was under the weather and got injured, and we lost two linebackers. Given that, and the fact that any win is a good thing, I should be happier. I just long for the undramatic, overpowering wins of last season - but then again, the last season ended on a bit of a sour note. Just a bit.

On the other hand, there's something about Jay Cutler and memories from his time here that grates on Broncos fans. You really don't want to wish ill of people, but his apparent performance tonight (I didn't watch the game) have my Colorado Facebook friends in a schadenfreude frenzy.

And the Jets won!!! But we're going to complain about not even getting the draft right.... right?
