Hello guys!!! Just to inform you that my mom is now out of the hospital. She's now in a place where she will continue to recover until she's well enough to go back home. Luckily, she's in the same home where she lives, except that she's in another area, where people can have all kinds of services. Nurses, meals, help for bath and physio. People bring her medication and take care of her day and night if needed for at least 2 weeks. After that, her situation will be reviewed and we'll see at that time what will be the best for her. But she's doing fine. She can only get better and better. I'm glad my beautiful mom is now out of danger. Thank you for all your kind thoughts. :)

Bonjour everyone!!! My mom is doing better and better every day. She's now able to go for little walks in the ''corridor''. She has less pain, and can now pass several hours without asking for pain killers. I go almost every day to visit and chat with her. Of course she needs help for some tasks. but I guess she will be just fine when she returns in her appartment in a few weeks. What she doesn't like is the exercices she has to make, but she understands that it is necessary. Sorry if I make some English mistakes in my posts. Sometimes I don't know if I put the right word at the rignt place. So just to say that Healing vibes and prayers are working just wonderful. Thank you all on behalf of my lovely mom. xxx:smile:

It's pronounced Bangor. Just kidding. I'm glad to hear your mom is doing better. I don't blame her for not enjoying the exercises, which are probably tedious and painful.

I follow your English with no problem at all.

Hey everybody!! I have been away for a while I know, but here I am. To begin with, me and family have moved my mom to a new appartment last february, and it's been a lot of work. I don't know if you people have parents that keep a lot of not so usefull stuff, but my maman did, and it was a lot of work to just get rid of things she did no longer use or give away some other things in the family and some charity. She was moving to a smaller appartment, so no more space to stock ( thank God! ). But it's done now, and she's really happy in her new place. I don't know if you can see the picture, but my maman kept some collections of all sorts for many many years, so this was the hardest. We managed to keep the doll collection, some albums, journals and books that she chose to keep. But, something happenned after my mom moved. My husband became quite sick. I had to rush him to the hospital with a dangerous peritonite and high fever. He almost died of it. They had to wait for surgery to proceed, because he was under blood medication. Because of the wait, they had to make him a stomia. But this just temporary ( 3 months maybe ). He will have to go to surgery again in a few months to reconnect his intestins. Gee! This is really something. Plus, at the hospital he contracted a virus in his right eye and he nearly lost the eye. So my time was spent going to the hospital several times, the clinic, the pharmacy. So no time to chat on the net or even write a few lines of the story I began to write last january. I became quite nervous also, couldn't sleep too much. But now, everything is going better. My hubby feels good and he can go out now and drive the car. My mom is just happy and enjoys life. I hope it will go on and on, because Ray had enough of health problems and he deserves to enjoy life too. We're waiting for spring to show up. It's been a very hard winter. Have a super day everyone!!! Hope to come back more often on these boards. Take care:smile2:

Good to see you again, and to hear that things are improving. May you mom and husband continue to heal and be well. Take care of yourself too. You are doing so much for them. Inner peace plus love and been lights!
