Been having some health issues and been a bit down. So I decided I would look at this differently. I am very fortunate,I have my children,my husband and Grandchildren.Lots of people go through things and have no one. I had a birthday a week ago and I heard from all my children. Made my week. The oldest however, forgot so she called a day late. On my granddaughters birthday. She had forgotten her daughters birthday. So she got her payback. LOL teenager. So she told her her present was she decided to take her shopping. Boy if I could have been a fly on those walls.
Then a big surprise my middle child whom calls hardly ever. Called and said to watch for a package this coming week. She founds something she said she thought I would love. Shes not a gift giver. Then she told me mom,I am finally sending pictures you been asking for forever. Their wedding 8 years ago,the grandchildren and just pics. That part was the best of all,I can't wait to receive them.
Then my wild child. Actually the first to called. Said mom,Happy Birthday,it aint much but Iam sending $20 bucks and you should be proud its clean money. I got a real job.Yes i cried as she has had an addiction for many years,so to know shes clean is a big arse deal.Let me tell you been along hard struggle. As we adopted her first child. She came home one day and said if you want you better adopt him or I am going through an agency. Then she had two daughters and I had to do the hardest thing a mom could do call DCS. But now my granddaughters have a great home and my oldest child is adopting them.
Last my hubby. Found a great buy $60 for two books. My Pretty Pony and DT The wastelands. Holy crap first editions.Anyway so I am grateful and so fortunate to have this blessings in my life.
Needless to say not feeling down no matter how any of these health issues turnout.

That's the spirit! Look on the bright side.
I feel ya when it comes to the pictures. The little Dolly in my profile pic lives 1200 miles away, so I only get to see her when I get the odd picture. I treasure each one I get.
Keep us posted about your health.
:calm:
All my children live in different states than me. Florida,Michigan and Texas. Texas changes frequently as he is in the military.

My nine year old son is in big time silly phase right now, if you ask him anything, he responds with "I don't know, but watch me do the Robot!".......then he does the robot dance for you.....it keeps cracking me up because I'm never expecting it. Silly kid...

I love that. Kids can break down life's piles of s*** and make them tolerable. I love silly kids. The little guy I watch a couple days a week loves robots, so, we. talk. like. robots.

Yeah, I'm pretty serious for the most part, old and cranky most of the time, and I think Daniel picks up on that. He likes to crack my wife and I up...he's an only child so "too much attention" doesn't seem to be in his vocabulary...lol

What agreat way to look at things!
My grand daughter cracks me up. She is trying to jump, but her feet never come off the floor!
It's the little things that can take your mind off what is going on physically with you.
Oh man! my little guy is trying to jump too, but he wants me to jump with him. I try, but I'm just waiting for the moment when I have to explain why Nanny Dana's uterus is dragging on the floor and leaving a snail trail.

Fair play. I like when people are able to see what they DO have. Hope the health matters get sorted for you and Happy Birthday.

Look, you cant just put things like that up when I am sitting at the reception desk with a definite "working" expression on my face! Lucky it was empty when I snorted!
