I gotta wonder, what kind of sense of entitlement and privelege does a group of morons have to have, to think for split second, that there would be no serious actions taken for an act of such monumental stupidity?
Or possibly worse, that maybe they probably figured so, but it just didn't matter in their wee pea brained world?
Yeah their Mama's have gotta be proud.

They need to be publicly humiliated. It may be the only way to get through to these self-entitled a**hats.

Not that it's ever going to get better. There's a strip club here in town, it's been there for forever, but now they have an animated banner that shows young women in their underwear. Or no clothes at all. And it's right in the middle of downtown. Next to a church, about two blocks away from the courthouse. How they're getting away with that is beyond me, but they are. Some "people" never grow up.

Stupidity is always gonna exist. And to those people to just say something is wrong is not enough. They are only gonna understand it, hopefully, by some public humiliation that what they done is totally unacceptable. If it had been handled quietly the risk is that they would not have got the message.

I am about as far from a prude as you can get, but this is just tasteless. And I really think the school should've handled this quietly, without all the publicity for these morons.

OK, I'm going to get up on my soapbox!

Social media is why they could not handle this quietly. Social media is why they thought this might be a funny/bada$$ thing to do. Social media is dumbing down the world, one tweet/vine/instragram at a time.

This was stupid. In the old days, a respected member of the school would have stopped it within a very short time and punished the fraternity, then moved on. I am only 43 years old and I miss the good old days!

Off soapbox... continue on.

Its a little like Pandoras box, isnt it? Once you opened it and let the thing out in the world (Social media) you cant put it back in. So we must learn to live with it. Right now we are going through a stage of adjusting our self to this new reality. It will be better. But just as Stupidity and its actions reach further so does intelligent ideas spread much quicker. Two sides of the same coin.

...I would assume, that like here in Cambridge, approval would have to been granted by the Street Dept./Service-Safety Director or City Council for the sign to be placed...if not-it can be removed until or if permission is obtained legally...I have no issue with strip joints, but that's just in poor taste and locale...

We are going to run out of people to punish soon. There has to be some distinction between folks who do stupid things and need to be held accountable from idiotic kids acting like jerks. The endless news cycle makes a mountain out of a mole hill about some very silly things.
