Tonight at dinner, Kaden was talking about the first St. Patrick's day. It was back in the 1700's, and lasted over 5 hours.
He then said that I was probably a little girl when that happened.
My jaw dropped, and Larry looked at me and said I looked pretty good for someone over 400 years old!
Then I just couldn't stop laughing.

I forgot to say that he was talking about the parades, not just the day.
He also asked me if when I was little, did I have a game boy. I told him that we never even had a TV when I was little little. And when we got one, it was all fuzzy looking, and the first thing I remember watching was a western. Guess that is why I love westerns.

That is too funny, Champ!

Look at those teeny tiny feet in the upper part of the photo - adorable!
:love_heart::lurve:

She threw a tantrum over her mini mouse socks this morning. She wanted the socks the Easter bunny gave her (with bunnies and carrots on them). But I had already tossed them in a bag with dirty clothes. She's turning two next month and she insists on picking her own clothes.

Kat had to go to school again today to see if she would be able to go to pre k. This was her third time.
She did good for about 5 minutes, then everything the woman would ask her, she would growl!!
So Karen will get a call to let her know about going to the classroom for about an hour to see how she does.
If I was that woman, I would have busted out laughing when she started to growl at me!
Kat does that to me in the mornings when she first gets up. She is such a grump!

I'm late to this conversation Patricia (Patricia is my mum's middle name, but everyone calls her Pat) . How old is Kat? I assume it's your daughter. My daughter Isabella is a dream for me regarding going to bed, and getting up, but she's a nightmare for her mum (we're divorced) . I think it's sometimes a mother /daughter thing.

We were listening to the radio when it was announced that Osama Bin Laden had been located and had been killed by Navy Seals. My youngest apparently misheard; he turned around with huge saucer eyes and said, "I don't even know baby seals could hold guns!"

The other day, the three of us were outside enjoying our new back yard. Our son has a brightly colored ball that has become the "play catch" ball. He's only a year old, so our version of catch is him carrying the ball to the edge of the cement patio and throwing it out into the dirt. I then roll the ball back, and he goes chasing after it. And, yes, sometimes my husband and I will snag the ball and actually play catch for a few minutes while our boy laughs his head off and tries to catch the ball.

Well, my man and I were tossing the ball around, and I happened to throw wrong and hit one of the little apple trees that sits in our yard. It's still mostly covered in flowers, and when the ball hit it, it snowed little white flower petals all over the place.

My son then managed to get the ball back, but instead of carrying it to the dirt and tossing it to me, he held it up to the apple tree. He wouldn't stop trying to give the tree his ball until I went over and made it "snow" again. He can be so darned cute...

My son and his gf are having a baby. A few weeks ago, when they picked up his kids, the two youngest had a gift for the baby. They had saved their allowances, and money from cleaning sidewalks and pitched in together to get a nice little outfit and card.

When they opened the card, the girl had tried to erase her brother's name from the card. This is probably not a good sign....but yet, it is funny.

This girl at church keeps making her hands into guns and "shooting" me. It's cute. I pretend to be hurt and shot which makes her laugh. It is our "thing."
