I voted for Revival. I want the bitter, harsh, kick-in-the-nuts ending like in the book; no PC welshing-out by the director. I heard this was optioned by a studio with Sam Jackson tapped to play the not-so-goodly Reverend.

What I REALLY want as well:

A mini-series adaptation of Duma Key on a cable network with Bryan Cranston as Edgar.

A cable series adaptation of The Talisman.

How'd I forget Duma Key? Dang it...I change my vote! Too late to edit...oh well.
The Talisman, too. Good call.

Your idea for Duma Key is great. I would love to see that! I voted for The Long Walk. It's such a bleak and sad story, but that's what I tend to gravitate toward for some reason. I don't know who I would want to play Garrity though, or the Major (or Stebbins, or McVries, or Olsen....Lord, I could just go on and on.....)

I changed my vote again. I first went with The Long Walk. Then The Talisman got added and I changed to that. But, thinking about it, I knew they just couldn't do it justice. And a beloved story would be ruined. I'd rather keep that little movie in my head -- perfect.

Sooooo, I put my vote back to The Long Walk.

Given the track record regarding Stephen King movies i'm surprised any Stephen King fan wants their favourite King novel turned into a
movie. There are a few exceptions but most movies are pretty bad. It always amazes me how they can turn such great books into such horrible movies. Funny thing is that most people associate Stephen King with all the bad movies. A lot of people don't read his books because they think they are as bad as the movies.

i'm so torn apart between Mr. Mercedes and Revival, i want to see Revival on big screen like i was watching a hybrid of old style and futuristic type of film (but i think the catholic church in my country will try to criticize the film, i could see them making a statement because blah blah blah blah *you already know what is it*)

My pick for Garrity would be Elijah Wood, although he might be considered a tad old for the role now.
