Only she says......
It's been over 2 weeks since I started--thought for sure I'd be done by now  but had other things going on last weekend that cut into my reading time and the weather was overcast/rainy. On days like that I usually do craft projects more than reading. So far, the weather is supposed to be nice this weekend and that's when I get more reading done--take my book outside and enjoy the summer sun so hope to finish up and get started on book 5.

Where are you at now, Out of Order? I've slowed down--had thought I might finish this past weekend but only up to page 674.

I'm in the mid-400's. I didn't get a chance to read much this weekend either. I was a little surprised at
the part with Myrcella's guard getting it on with Arianne. Ser Arys is it? I kept waiting for him to die from some kind of poison or such, but I'm up to the part where they are taking Myrcella across the desert. And he's still alive....LOL. Did you like the part with Catelyn's sister getting launched out of the Moon-door? :Oo:

So is that part of the book not included in the TV adaptation?

Karma's a bitch and so was Lysa; she got what she had coming. I'm curious where Martin will go with Littlefinger grooming Sansa to be a player in the game of thrones. I'm worried for Sansa and whether she's still going to have to marry Robert as part of Littlefinger's ambitions.

If it is included in the show I don't remember it. In fact the doings in Dorne are explored with much greater detail in the books. Not to say that the Dornish are left out of the show, but I like how much more detail is in the books. As far as what happens with Sansa? Keep reading and finish the books so you can watch the show and then we can compare!!!!:p

Well, I guess I spoke too soon about
Arys Oakheart being okay....LOL. Just another example of no one being safe in Martin's world.
I purposely ignored responding about that yesterday. Up to page 778 so on the home stretch.
Poor Arya! I knew she wouldn't escape unscathed after killing Dareon but still....and after flipping through the chapter headings, looks like I'll have to wait until book 5 to see what happens to her.

You know triple O, your avatar (it is supposed to be some kind of icecream iguess, but it always reminds me of a kind of creepy alien that slowly lurches forward towards me while i'm sitting there paralyzed. And then it will open a mouth somewhere and i will be nomore. Thats the kind of feeling your avatar spreading to me.... So i guess you have succeeded, right?

It's a scoop of peppermint stick ice cream, yes. It's been very hot so I thought folks would like a nice cool treat this week. But I very much like what you're seeing. LOL. Kinda like The Blob almost?:biggrin-new:

Exactly!!! It might have something to do with me reading Dreamcatcher at the moment so i am already thinking of aliens and stuff. And i have seen a lot of the fifties horror space flicks like the blob too. Like a purple giant earth walking octupus with the smallewr things att the sides being the arms that he uses to lurch forward on. I promise i'm not on a trip just my imagination working overtime.....

:zip_it:

It was a slow TV night. Have book 5 with me to start on my lunch break and in another couple weeks might be able to get started on the TV series so we can compare notes on that and give you a chance to catch up with the books. :smile2:

Have you bought the DVDs? Are all the seasons available? Oh, man, how I envy you. I watched the very first episode the other night just to get a fix.....:D
