About a half hour ago fighter jets went roaring over our house and my heart lept into my throat because I always jump right to....terrorist attack. Then I remembered there is an air show in Sept. in the next town over.Sure enough it's this weekend.I don't know if my nerves can take jets roaring over our house for the next four days.
Geez,thought we were under attack......

When I was at lunch on Tuesday, we had one of the refueling planes and 3 fighter jets in formation fly over down at the waterfront. I'm guessing it was another training exercise not connected to yours but lots of military plane activity in these parts.
I'm not far from MacDill AFB- an operational base for the Strategic Air Command, thus fighter jets practicing over the gulf is commonplace.
We're both in Maine but Stacy is south of me.
Oh! Ok. I just thought it was a funny coincidence; the Reno Air Races are due to start soon! Is this like national air race month or something?
They actually closed the base but that is indeed where the air show is this year..It's now an "executive airport" ...whatever that means.It's been three years of no air shows so it's been peaceful.I guess it's good for the area over there.So many stores have closed since the military left.
....considering the weather in Maine, I would have expected THIS at an air show.....
