With holidays approaching, maybe we can help each other pick out gifts.

I need an idea for a 3 year old boy and his 1 1/2 year old sister. (A shared gift is acceptable.) They have moved into a new house with a HUGE back yard, but there is no hill in the yard. Any ideas on snow toys for this age group?

I need to buy a gift for a female that I don't even know. Work thing. Pollyfreaking annan..

Who's Polly. Where can I find her......

Just know that she is somewhat cool, Likes her son's Hockey playing. Has curly hairs and is not girly-girly like the rest of them. I spy I wrist tattoo, even. She was funny as all in the 'girl' meeting. But , I did not pay attention to what she said, exactly.

Hey! I think I just found a friend that I don't talk to.

Plush snowballs, in case its to cold to go outside; especially ate age 3 and 1.5. They are also incredibility soft and light weight, a 1.5 year couldn't get injured by them, and the furniture would be safe.

I usually go the not creative but safe way, with work gift trade. I do Starbucks or fast food gifts cards.

Thanks, but nah - seems they go all out. Decorating tree, big deal about opening presents. Cookies. meh.

It was was a big issue in the 'meeting' if we should all buy each other something or just do polly. I am like wtf. It went on for an hour. Ended up talking pumkin and banana bread recipes.

Someone is getting candles and bubble bath basket.

Mind you, I can go all girly, and am. And love the bubbles - but hey, a bunch of females talking together that you don't know . ek.

coffe / tea drinker? Maybe a sampler- you could even individually wrap each and place in a basket.

What about a Fluxx card game, its simple and fast to learn, it's a good family activity(you mentioned a son), it cost between $15-16 , there are a dozen themed version, holiday fluxx, zombie fulxx, cartoon network fluxx... and so on, it can be found in most game stores or retail stores like barns and noble.

:facepalm_smiley: This reminds me of that one time when I wanted magic cards (magic the gathering) for Christmas

This is what I got from my grandma , who did not know the distinction between magic the gathering cards, and a magic trick set with card tricks included (bless her for trying to get me what I wanted)

Real snow, and lots of it where they live.

I saw those indoor snowballs last weekend at a store. I think maybe not a good idea for their dogs. Although, honestly, nothing is a good idea with those dogs. Last visit we brought potato heads and big dog ate the feet of one.
