Real snow, and lots of it where they live.

I saw those indoor snowballs last weekend at a store. I think maybe not a good idea for their dogs. Although, honestly, nothing is a good idea with those dogs. Last visit we brought potato heads and big dog ate the feet of one.

uh oh, I didn't even consider pets in the picture... yeah the snowballs would not be good to have around dogs that like to eat things.

I ended up buying the three year old a set of drums. (Fisher Price) everyone said I would be in the dog house, but I figure I'll be forgiven when they need a babysitter.

Then his mom told me they got him a set of drums for Christmas, so now I need to return mine for something else.

When I asked him what he wants he said a present. (Helpful boy) Then he said a "game toy". So, I'm thinking he means a boxed game. I know he has one that he likes, Disney CandyLand. Any ideas of games for a three year old.

Ooooooh I had one of those when I was little, I think it was called a "stick."

It is. I've had to play hundreds of games of it with my kids growing up. You just can't get enough of the belly laughter the kids get from it. Violence is golden!

Does he ever watch Doctor Who with you? There are lots of different Doctor Who figures and toys.

No.

But for my other son who is having a baby next year, I found a pack of "Little Golden" Star Wars story books. He was such a huge Star Wars fan.
