That makes sense. We'll go with that until proven otherwise!

Better Half?
Try to get some rest now, Tina. Bless you.Good morning,
Thank you all for the prayers and thoughts for us. We made it home late yesterday afternoon. Had good weather and good roads up to the last 26 miles, it was snowing a bit here at home.
The service was very nice. My grandma looked 15 years younger. So I feel she really is at peace. All of the grandkids and great-grandkids either brought their afghans she made all of us, or took pictures, and the pictures and blankets were on display at her service. That was a nice tribute to my grandma, I felt.
Long few days. I am tired and glad to be home, and home safe. Thank you so much for the prayers. They did help me very much.

(((((Haunted and Boo)))))Boo is my BH, he is in the hospital with congestive heart failure and they are trying to drain excess fluids. I wonder would you remember him in your prayers?

Here's hoping for continued improvement--thanks for letting us know!Thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers. BH is fluid free thanks to three doses of Lasix but is due further testing to explain what happened. He is back to crabby so things are looking better.
Continued prayers for you both! Hope they can figure out the underlying issue.Thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers. BH is fluid free thanks to three doses of Lasix but is due further testing to explain what happened. He is back to crabby so things are looking better.
Haunted, my feeling is that BH is going to respond well to treatment. Lots of people diagnosed with congestive heart failure live long lives. I feel that this might be a kind of warning, though, for BH to make certain changes, such as dietary ones, which his doctor will direct a dietician to suggest. He'll probably also be prescribed medications.Thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers. BH is fluid free thanks to three doses of Lasix but is due further testing to explain what happened. Right. The phrase "heart failure" is misleading in the case of "congestive heart failure".Congestive heart failure is the worst sounding diagnosis, but as folks others have said, it can be treated and can be mitigated by medications. Hang in there. Well wishes abound.
