I am making mistakes on this Board the past few days. 'Liking' things that are years old. Apologies and to the moderators as well.....

You mean once we get to be "years old" we aren't worthy of being 'liked'? uh oh - some of the oldsters (me included) are in trouble.

I have only been on here three years, but I am starting to feel pretty old lately - maybe I need more sleep!

Got results from my spinal tap today. My pressure level is 23. 20 and below is great, 25 and above is not good. So I'm in a gray in-between area. Doctor checked my eyes and everything is exactly the same as last time-- there is pressure but it hasn't gotten worse over the last six months.

However, during my mrv (or was it mra? I had both) they spotted a growth farther back in my head on a bone, so now *that* is the concern.

I have to go for a CT scan next month.

Feeling frustrated. Every time we go see this doctor she says "well, I think everything is fine but just to make sure let's try this......"

However, I've been seeing her with my head problems for so long now that it would be stupid to try seeing anyone else. She's nice, but more than a little vague and the whole thing is just frustrating.

Luckily, I haven't had any headaches in a while and have had no vision problems, no fraying out, nothing. She said that's good, and she thinks the growth is nothing-- just benign. But she wants to make sure.

Sounds like pretty much good news Ach,will think of you during prayer tonight.I know what you mean, about doctors being vague,I always seem to have questions didn't think to ask at the time, maybe if you wrote them down and showed her or read them to her at the start of the appointment? Hang in there..

Let them look. It doesn't hurt to look for peace of mind.

Somehow I missed this! Thank you for letting us know, it is scary and frustrating while you're waiting to find out what is going on... let us know once you get the CT results. (((Achtung)))

(((((A-baby))))) I don't like vague, especially when it comes to the big things. I've got you in my prayers.

I just found out a 9th grader at Evan's school passed away on Friday. He committed suicide.

His mother was one of the secretaries at Ty and Ali's school. She was always so nice and bubbly. She recently moved into a secretarial position over at the jr high, and all the kids at the elementary were sad to see her go, and parents, too.

My heart is breaking for her.

((((Trish and family))))
