hubby seen the wound specialist today. He will see him once a week for awhile. the wound is looking much better. they cleaned it up and applied some medication. the specialist just feels it is healing slowly due to the severity of it and the fracture blisters.

Would like to ask for some prayers and/or good thoughts for my dad. A week or so ago, he had a cyst removed from his neck. At the same time they removed this other "thing" that his dermatologist said was nothing to be concerned about. The cyst was benign, but the other thing was renal cell carcinoma, which (if you don't know) is a kidney cancer. How it manifested on his neck without him having any symptoms is a mystery.

At this point, we don't know what's going on, because we don't really understand what we are dealing with. He had a scan today and should have a call from his doctor after reading that by tomorrow. Then it will be July 8 before he can meet with the oncologist. I personally have seen so many miracles from this board. Any good thoughts you could send, for the outcome as well as the waiting, will be very appreciated. Thanks!

We had the windows open yesterday and I said to Andy "Is someone burning something in their back yard?" - it smells like a campfire when the wind is blowing in the right direction.

We have been getting a lot of smoke from the Canada fires clear down here. Everything has been hazy and it was thick enough on Tues, my eyes watered and ran all day long. Many prayers and safety vibes to everyone fighting the fires!
