Hi, kids. I just feel like mentioning that I've got some kind of tummy ailment again. If anyone has an extra moment I'd sure appreciate some thoughts and prayers that the pain go away. No fever or much in the way of other symptoms. Something like this seems to happen periodically. Thanx for listening.
((((blunthead)))) You've had the appropriate look sees? Many prayers.

Hey there! I really miss being on here, but I have to go visit "the old man" ;-D:frog::m_snicker: (Just kidding!) He is actually doing much better now - sitting up and taking notice, as they say.

He was starving but was on IV fluids only for two days and now today he is thrilled to be allowed Jello!

Ooops - cry pardon - not THAT kind of Jello!:uh-uh:

Take care and saying prayers for all that need them - hopefully by Tuesday things will go back to normal, once I am back in the old routine - he is doing very well, so thanks for all the good wishes :m_adore:

Yes. I'm feeling a little better now. It's happened several times before. I think it's just irritation of my stomach by stress, too much ibuprofen for back pain, and the Chinese Kung Pao save I had yesterday, though it might be a virus. Thanx for you're concern!:)

Have you been checked out for diverticulitis?

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better now. :)

A few years ago I had a colonoscopy which they said showed no problems. I had a particularly stressful day Friday and I wonder if that, coupled with my use of ibuprofen lately and the Kung Pao sauce yesterday, might've inflamed my stomach lining enough to set it off. But if that's what happened then my stomach lining might tend toward a compromised state. I've got a doc appt. soon, I'll talk to him about it.

Thanx folks for your thoughts and prayers. :love_heart:

My mother got a bleeding ulcer from Ibuprofen. At the surgeon's office, filling out the papers to get it fixed, it asked the question:

"Who can we thank for your referral?"

Seeing as how I was the one filling out the paper work, I put, "The Makers of Iburpofen." They thought that was pretty funny.

AnnaMarie so sorry about your friend's son! What a nightmare! Many prayers for them (and you!)
Neesy Take care of your old man! Glad he's on the mend.
blunthead Be well Frank! Watch that ibuprofen! Do you do PT for your back? The Ogre is much better after a year of at home PT - but he had to go 4 times to the clinic so they could show him how. Very much worth it.

I assume my back pain is due to muscles not being used very much - lack of exercise, that is - though an MRI once showed I have cysts there. I might need to see the back doc again. I'm somewhat overweight which is part of the problem, and for sure I need to start walking.

((Frank)) hope you are feeling better!

((Neesy and Andy)) continued good vibes your way!

Just wanted to pop in and thank you for your prayers and thoughts. My dad had surgery yesterday to remove his left kidney. It went very well. Doc said it was 90+% contained to the kidney and the one vein and did not appear to have invaded any other veins (the big one into the stomach was a concern). He still has a lot ahead of him, but it's much more hopeful now than it was just a few weeks ago. Again, thank you all for the support.
