More prayers and guidance for all paperwork.Update on my mom:
Took her to a follow-up appointment with the orthopedic surgeon today. Been about a month since her accident. Good news, bad news. Bad news, the broken piece of bone isn't healing the way they would like and it's not laying flat like it was after last x-ray. Doctor thinks all this is because of her severe osteoporosis. Good news, he still doesn't think she will need surgery.
He also thinks she may be able to draw Disability income because of the advanced osteoporosis. Told her to get the paperwork from Social Services and he would sign it. That's a long, uphill battle, but at least there is hope. He wanted her to take another month off of work, but she told him she can't. I took care of everything financially that I could and thank God my half brother stepped up and paid her lot rent for February.
Thanks for all the prayers - they are appreciated very much.
((((Morgan and Mom)))) Good that the doctor is helpful and is thinking of your mother's future. Stick to your guns when dealing with the System, your Mom worked for years contributing, now is the time she needs the help and it should come to her.Update on my mom:

Sounds like a plan, happy celebration!!I've got to read Voltaire's Candide over the weekend, reach the tenth chapter of Dracula, finish a short story on my Brother typewriter, complete an assignment for my Human Growth and Development class, gather data for my research paper on bullying for said class, and maybe begin writing another short story. When I'm done, I'm thinking of celebrating by watching a movie, or maybe taking my friend out to eat.

Good news on the disability income - (it may take a while to get it going but it's worth it) and the rent payment! Sorry to hear she's not healing the way they'd like. Will continue to keep you both in my prayers.Update on my mom:
