Something that's been bugging the crap out of me since I first heard about it. This is how the medical profession is treating my good friend, Diann, (and countless others no doubt). When they diagnosed her with congestive heart failure it hit me: the so-called caring profession has given her a violent shove toward the grave. Sons of bitches. Now with Diann having episodes right and left of being unable to breathe (she has COPD) both Diann and Charlynn (her daughter) have expressed to me the belief that hospital officials released Diann much too soon from the hospital. She had a violent attack last Monday and was sent home on Friday. Contrary to The Lord's Prayer, I fear evil. I fear evil very much. And it is in the way the US Government handles people who are deemed "unworthy" and who are on Medicare. It is officially on record: Diann now has a history of congestive heart failure.

I had to tell somebody. Thank you so much for keeping Diann in your prayers. We are a tight knit prayer group.

Work's about to take an upswing for me again, there were shuffles, lost some hours, about to gain some back, at least temporarily, but it's gonna be a long haul for the next week and a half many prayers and well-vibed-wishes needed....

As many of you know, my precious dog Sadie has been very sick. I greatly appreciate all the prayers and positive thoughts from all of you!

A year ago tomorrow my father passed away. I am really having a difficult time keeping it together as of late. I'm trying to find laughter where I can but my heart is extremely heavy. If I'm up to it, I might post a tribute to him tomorrow.(He introduced me to the state of Maine when I was in grade school.) We had a difficult relationship - we were separated from each other when I was only two and never quite got on the right track. You always think you have more time.

Don't let another day go by without making things right with someone you love. Tomorrow is a gift not everyone has.
