OK. after talking more with Karen, I made a wrong statement. She said the doctor is going to monitor her for the visits to him with the wheezing problem. I guess after so many visits, they will send her to Wilmington for extensive testing. Karen didn't think to ask how many more times Kat has to go to him before he makes that decision.
He is going to call in the next 2 days, so she will ask him that question then.
Thanks for the well wishes.

Prayers will be said for Kat.
And I agree with MsMod. Is there an asthma specialist in your area? My granddaughter was diagnosed at age 3. Treatment is often different for children under age 5. If it runs in the family, I'd have it ck'd before age 5.

I don't know about a specialist in my area. Kat's doctor will know what to do after her culture results get back to him.

Asking for healing vibes, and prayers for my grand daughter, Kat.
Karen had to take her to the doctor this morning because she is wheezing, and really stuffy. The doctor is going to keep check on how many times Kat has gone in for the same reasons. So far it has been like 5 times. He said that when she turns 5 years old they will test her for asthma. I have it, and I have a brother that has it, and my grandfather had it.
I think she does too.
The doctor put her on breathing treatments 3 times a day, which Karen does for her every time she starts this.
Thanks in advance for the good thoughts.

Poor girl! ((Kat)). My son has asthma - our doctor didn't test for it, but treated it with the nebulizer while he was young and switched to the inhaler around 5. Our doctor is very old school though. Maybe there's new thoughts on testing and treating.

Kids, day before yesterday I burnt hell out of my left leg on my motorcycle's exhaust pipe. I wasn't riding it or sitting on it but had gone over to restart it after it had choked out. I'd been running it to charge the battery and to clean out the carbs and the engine with good gas. After work tonight I intend to send a pic of the burn (it looks kinda awful. I really hate hurting myself. I'm funny that way) to my doc and ask him to call rxs to my pharmacy. Thanx in advance for your thoughts, prayers and vibes.
