How do things like GoFundMe work?
Do you pay immediately, or only after the goal is reached? Do you need something like PayPal? Or can you pay directly with a back/credit card?
I have never donated to one of these, never even been tempted. But my son's friend has set one up to pay for surgery. (It disgusts me that in this country, with the medical care system we have, a young person needs to pay for a surgery.)
Anyway....any information would be appreciated.
